La Bohème Previews!



"To end on a personal note, and one with which I think a lot of opera fans will agree, La Bohème is a perfect introductory work for neophyte operagoers, those possibly reluctant but definitely intrigued listeners who might want to try a real time test drive. I know this dates me, but it’s the opera that dowdy accountant Cher attends in Norman Jewison’s 1987 film Moonstruck — and the experience changes her life.
